two questions
« on: October 14, 2019, 02:29:16 pm »

Any suggestions for a fairly soft wire that would replicate at 1/96, the wire used on davits, CVA-01 has davits that extend horizontally from the respective boat decks, so need something that will be fairly rigid but not over so.

Secondly does anyone do at same scale the black and yellow edging strips, though BEC might but no lick

You can  print your own waterslide transfers easy enough. Info all over the web.

For wire what diameter? I'd be looking at anything, if you desire a specific config can always consider wind it yourself in a drill and vice?

HI Rich now Bob says its for a 1/96 scale so its gonna be very thin but he needs sturdy wire as well  hence fishin wire

Might be worth checking out what Albion Alloys have in their catalogue. I use 0.2mm Nickel Silver Rod for hand rail stanchion wire but I’m sure that they do 0.2mm dia brass rod too.

Silver plated jewellery wire from 0.2 to 0.6 are relatively cheap and I'd assume solderable with the silver plating
