Haven't actually built anything for ages, so I thought I'd start with something small....

I wonder if the elegance and sophistication of such a vessel might transfer itself across?   I suppose that one can compare, but if it did, would we ever find Martin at an exhibition again?  So perhaps it might be an equally shortlived journey, perhaps for the best after all.
Keep it up and best regards

Maybe the Titanic is not the most appropriate subject for Martin. One of the WW1 dazzle painted liners could be a better bet....

OK, so obviously this is a 'media' experiment, so I'm looking for your input;
What works, what doesn't work, is it worth pursuing at all?!
 Also, is it too long, too short, needs breaking up to shorter sections, needs narration, needs subtitles, love the music, hate the music, faster, slower..... wrong direction
 entirely!

This not about the subject, more about the style of the build, the presentation..... having said that, I'm doing another build of another Titanic, to experiment a bit more with lighting, camera, layout, video, etc.

So you comments please, brick-bats or bouquets,   <:(
 let's see if we can come up with a style that suites the subject, our age group and common interests.

 Comments / replays here.... or by PM if you prefer.

Hi Martin - I really liked this video and build and here's what I thought

It really grabbed my attention right at the beginning with the funny tools bit.  That made me laugh out loud - I actually thought for a moment you were going to chuck the instructions to one side too  {-)

Everything was there that I wanted to see but I think that many parts could be speeded up quite a lot to try and get it down to a 15 minute video.  I hope I've explained that right; what I mean is don't remove any content just speed it up.  That way the same music could probably be used throughout the whole thing.

I really like the angle / perspective that is was filmed from - did the camera get in your way??

Always something new to learn on this forum, I really did not know that the funnels on Titanic were hexagonal in cross-section.
