The Great Ships ( Forces TV )

The great ships is a series on Forces TV (channel 96 i believe) anyone watching it, up to now Walers, Galleons, PT boats and yesterday Dreadnoughts - all from the US point of view.

I have no channel 96 on UK freeview?
...Must be a niche broadcast.

Forces TV is the all new & unique television channel about the Armed Forces and launches today, 10th June at midday! It will be broadcast on Sky satellite (299), Virgin Media (244) & Freesat (652). The new factual channe focuses on the work of the armed forces and the world of defence

Hi Forces TV is on Virgin 277, I watch it a lot, but perhaps it depends on your area?

Yep, been available in the NW for maybe a year now. Usually old TV series like UFO, bless this house, never the twain etc and various military ship and aircraft series predominantly US.

I think its a subscribe channel via the big providers, I cant get it on freeview either.

It's not a subscribe channel - just availabilty via the local transmitter provider - like in the past channel 5 was not available in north wales.
