Wow - that debonder is fierce stuff.  I confess I did have a little chuckle when the servo started to fall apart, sorry Martin.  But it was quite funny.

What on earth is in that debonder? There must be a use for that beyond its intended purpose.

Did the plastic "dry" and become hard again?

Any recommendation for the linkages?

I think I'll go for the Rastafarians beads!

Q1 Mini Logging Tug  build - Part 16

RUDDER SERVO and Linkage - Round 3

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Nce1H6hA8vY" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

and this is why i hate and never use "servo testers"...  the servo tester is obviously overdriving the servo... you would never get that level of throws from a transmitter, and more importantly, you would be able to adjust the endpoints with the transmitter so that the rudder never moves more than 35 degrees port or starboard, regardless of what the servo is actually capable of.

Do you think I'll get away with springs for Rudder Linkages?

  Anyone does this before?

Surprisingly not!

Everything is so small, there's no real load anywhere.
