Slippery Mobile Phones
« on: November 17, 2019, 04:11:30 pm »

Why do the designers make mobile phones so damn slippery ?
I always have to supplement a change of mobile with a case (at extra expense) so I can keep hold of the thing.
If I was a mobile phone designer my efforts would, at least, include indentations for fingers to grip the sides.
I remember mobile phones having a loop-hole for attaching a lanyard - whatever happened to that ?
Does anyone else have the same problem or am I just a clumsy 'butterfingers'.

So it slips & drops and you buy a new one from them!   %)

And you're always misplacing them. Someone should invent one that hangs on the wall  :P %%

I have a huge problem with slippery phones.
My hands are so dry, that I have to work to make touch screens function.

Worse, is slippery cases. They make the cases like hockey pucks.
Hard, and able to slide down a bar top like a pint glass in a hurry.
I had to put a small square of 1mm sticky back rubber on the back of the case, just
to keep hold of the phone and prevent me from dropping it.
