The ISS is due to pass over the UK today at approx. 18:13pm look WSW

You can see it with the naked eye - it should be very bright on this pass as it has a magnitude of -3.7!!!

Check out http://www.heavens-above.com/

Under configuration enter your location, update and then choose ISS - this will give you the exact viewing detail/time for your location

Cheers

Good call.  Very bright and easily visible despite the street lights, slight elongation noticeable. Rose in the WSW as mentioned, I watched for about 3 minutes until it faded from sight presumable as it moved into the Earth's shadow.  Too much light pollution to see her Nav lights afterwards.  Thanks for this!

...on entering the parameters the website just takes me back to the start page each time?  I give up after 8 or 9 times now!  Was the same hours ago!

...that "heavens above" website not working properly here!

At the moment all our passes are in the early morning.  No way am I getting up at 3 a.m.  :embarrassed:
I have H/A site on my bookmark header, not just for ISS but other satellites over 3 minimum brightness
Their other pages are good as well.

All you need to do is click on the word “unspecified” next to the word location at the top right hand side of the page. You simply type in your town/village etc in the “enter place to search for” , hit the search option and then scroll to bottom of page and click on update. no lat/long required

This will return you back to the home page - click on ISS link and you will see the details of the next ISS passes from your location

You only need your town or nearest city in the location box.  H/A will fill in latt. and long.   You can then save your position and it will be there for next time.
Click on 'Home' then 'ISS' for passes for the next 10 days.  (you might need to enter p.m. or a.m.)

Sorry -think my internet has been glitching and pages not loading properly.  I'm seeing the fuller webpage I think which makes more sense and weblinks working now.  Sorry.  It makes a bit more sense now.
