Help again please concerning FlySky-i6 Tx. and DF yachts
« on: January 01, 2020, 01:13:22 pm »

Further advice please from owners and users. Having little to no knowledge of batteries etc.

At what battery levels do you set the inbuilt low battery alarms on the FlySky?

Thanks in advance. K.

I may not be able to give you the voltages but......

It all depends on the type of batteries you are using. It may be worthwhile letting us know which your battery type is.

Also is it just the TX you are monitoring or using the RX with telemetry to check the RX battery level.

Thanks for the reply Adrian.

Both,
TX 4 AA Eneloop,
RX 1 hump pack Tornado 1600 5 cell.
We sail on a large river fed pool and was just looking for a bit of advanced warning power wise.

I use 5 cell 950s from Component shop
and run for up to 2 hours without  losing
power. I get the same runtime with my
Sea wind which is much bigger. I would
set my DF to 5 v Rx.
You may experience a momentarily volts drop
when sheeting in in a bit of a blow.
