HELP NEEDED FOR WIRING ELECTRICS FOR MY MUIMOTA TUG
« on: February 11, 2020, 06:08:14 pm »

I have almost finished the work that needed seeing to on the Muimota tug, Although no lead in the keel as yet [ not sure how much I need ].. I am hoping that some of you lads can help me with remote controls to get her up and running. All I need is the most simple items and as few as possible, I have several old controllers but never had one running as my knowledge of electrics could be written on the back of a postage stamp and still leave room for a letter. So if a simple setup should pass my way I would be very grateful , I have found a box of bits in our shed that have been there a few years ,like servos speed controllers etc . and several 12 volt batteries from an electric scooter etc. Any help out there please.  pretty please.  Alan

It's always a good idea to do a bit of basic research before asking questions. That way you will gain a bit of understanding of the subject which will need more than the back of a postage stamp and help you to understand the advice you are given.

A good way to start would be to have a look at this article by Dave Milbourn which sets out the basics.

Good luck with the fit out.
