HobbyKing Boat ESC Programmer wanted
« on: February 12, 2020, 08:23:15 PM »

Does anyone have one for sale or maybe loan me one for a couple of days, if so, I will cover any costs involved.

Hobby king are out of stock in all branches with no idea of when they might have them.

Strange that, because they seem to be out of stock of most of their brushless motors also.

Maybe it could be something to do with the Corona virus.

Absolutely the virus is and will continue to affect supply for a very long time.
What exactly do you need to change from the supplied default settings?

Hi Andy.

I need to change nearly all of the defaults and can't be doing with the beeps method, they are really not ideal for fine tuning.

OK Mike this is an educated guess but I believe that the hobbyking is exactly the same as the Turnigy Marine card(also out of stock) AND this.......... the settings on the face are identical

Ah.
I've got a Flycolor programmer, will give it a try when the ESC's arrive. They are HK 50A Boat.

Many thanks.

The hobbyking one might not even be from the same production facility as the soldering is crap  {-)  but I suspect these are all the same specification.
I have a spare ESC NEW if you need one but the 90amp version

Could I mess up the HK units if the Flycolor isn't compatible ?

The Turnigy and Hobbyking programmers are not interchangeable although using tbe wrong one does no harm. I have both but am currently several thousand miles away from them. Mike, if you don't get sorted in the next week let me know and you can borrow mine.
