recognise this component ?
« on: February 21, 2020, 05:39:14 pm »

As my electronic knowledge could be written on a very small postage stamp, does anyone recognise what this component is and also where can I get one, or has anyone got would I could purchase.  It is part of a water sensor set up connected to a 12vols pump that JohnV gave me and it has worked ok so fat till tonight when it gave out that familiar burning electronics smell,  Positive not short circuited it or anything else, net result is the pump now runs continuously. on the body it hasTIP120 CZORQ  T  mar1719

It looks like a FET to me -pretty much a solid state switch.  I think Dave Milbourn is your man for advice. Hopefully he'll see this.  I'm missing maplins terribly these days, used to be easy go-to fixes.
