blast from the past - this one is called TELECTRA designed by N.E. Harris from the Model Boats plans service.   I have a little ENYA 15 to go in it - trying to keep it as authentic as possible.

What a beautiful wood finish!  :o
 What is it?

here ya go Martin, see if you can guess this one that I just finished - already had a trial run - in a test paddling pool in the garden :-)  - I discovered that a supposedly heat resistant exhaust pipe isn't heat resistant and it just melted and split - I had to replace that.  So, ready for the 2nd trial test - soon....

My Mini Loyal "something" continues painfully slowly, dunno why.  Turned my attention to printing visor head bands for hospitals at moment.  Had some printer issues!  Managed to make them worse and ruined the print bed although it's still usable to an extent, 7h and the printer nearly went through the front window today but managed to get sorted then did a 2h print OK-ish.  Looks like I can set-up a mini-production line.  Cost me a new magnetic print bed (silly mistakes trying to sort out an old problem!) and another 3x adhesive sprays orders required so far but I feel I might be able to make a contribution so it's worth it while we have been put on 4 day weekends for next month.

Just a few pictures from my Amati grand banks.  First picture shows the wiring in roof for the down lights various planking shots and finally the cabin sides. The inner cabin sides are laminated with teak veneer. Forgot to mention picture of the fly bridge in white primer now need to make the windscreen that will be fun. Please note these pictures will also be posted on my build thread  under pleasure vessels.

Spent some time clearing out the shed and have now got room to swing a cat and start work on that Milford Star hull on the bench,
The other parts are still in semi finished mode on the kitchen table .

When this lock down is finished we should have some very nice models on the water. I hope that the Blackpool show will be able to go ahead i am sure if this happens it will be a roaring success.

Billings kit was made for full size servo but a regular depth one will not fit.
Certainly does not need such a big one so I made a reducer to mount a mid size unit

HI Guys while some of the bridge parts on the grand banks where drying I decided to loose fit the cabin sides. Shock and horror they did not fit very well  back to the drawing board more for the scrap bin. I have decided to make them all from plastic card.

HI Joe I have to say this is the worst kit that I have ever had. Lots of items had to be remade to reduce weight far to many things to mention.

I’ve only got one complaint on my new build- why did I choose a ferry with so many windows! %% {-)  Having fun cutting holes in to this fantastic GRP example by Carl. I’ve wore out two drill batteries today!

Picked up the bull by the horns new inner wall made from plastic card. This was then taped in place and outer side fitted and the window openings marked on the plastic card. The other side still to complete after the window openings are cut out  the inner wall be airbrushed similar to the teak finish.

This has turned into a build thread!

I don't think that was the intention.
