Hi guys, thanks for letting me join this forum, I've been modelling since my teens my first rc model was a Tamyia 1-350 Yamato which I used to anoy the ducks with down on my local pond :). Then I strayed away to rc monster trucks, then raced rc cars Nationally. Then as I was now older and thumbs too slow for racing I got into 1/16th rc tanks which I'm still doing and love as I've always been more interested in military scale vehicles. But now I'm back to where it all started for me rc boats :) :) I have bought a Graupner HMS Hood 1-150 and what a fine model she is I must say. I have already bought flags and depth decals and bronze props and a load of rc stuff so definitely hooked again :). I'm lucky to live on the edge of the New Forest near Lymington on the south coast and have already inquired about membership at Setley model boat club. I'm a little out of depth as to rc boats as when I last did it I used a mechanical Tamyia speed controller on the Yamato, so I have lots of questions that I hope will be answered by perusing your forum if not prepare for stupid obvious questions as although I have a fair bit of experience in rc I'm very rusty now with rc boats as it has changed alot in some ways not in others, best regards and thanks again, Steve.
