As a young lad at sea collage in Gravesend  a few times a month would send tickets for us to go see some of the shows one of the one I was lucky to go on as there was only 12 seats on the mini bus one of the ones I went on was a new show the BBC was thinking of showing the GOODIES and I was watching the first ever one being made never knowing how big it was going to be. so such a sad day.
                Regards Howard.

ahh The Goodies ...no violence...

No violence? One of my endearing memories is 'ecky thump'
I also never realised that he also co-wrote The Four Yorkshiremen sketch, a pre-Python sketch which became a Python classic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKHFZBUTA4k

RIP Tim. You brought many a laugh to teenage school boy back in the day.  :-))

Tim Browne-Windsor RIP.
Superstar of the airwaves and able to, with a single bound, to play not only Lady Constance, but her sister in the same scene and all the time canoodling with the lovely Fiona Rabbit-Vacuum!Such a skill is rarely found on the wireless.
If you don't believe it possible, listen to ISIRTA on R4extra on Thursdays!
