Well Guys,
Self isolation has its advantages managed to completely rebuild, paint , add lights and smoke unit to my 20year old Liberty ship (ugly duckling).
Now time to think about what boat to refurbish for the next three weeks.

That looks great. Did you use same products or more modern? I'm finding allot of paints react nowadays or just don't cover like they used to.

Hi RST,
I just use Humbrol or revell paints all hand painted, all my models are hand painted. I find if you invest in good quality artist brushes and a lot of preparation rubbing down, filling etc you end up with not a bad job , Oh! plus a steady hand.

Hi, yes that's true. I'm still persevering with the enamel tinlets. I pretty much only buy Windsor and Newton brushes now for a good finish.

Having checked with DS 42 I have enclosed a picture of my Deans liberty ship.

Instead of using 00/H0 vehicles on the decks, why not look at the 1/100 Wargaming tanks & vehicles?     They are a better match for scale.

HI all the tanks used on my liberty ship are Roco Mini tanks at a scale of 1/87 second picture of a liberty ship is my model. I think Roco are still available.
