Hi Folks,


Just joined up today so I hope to have a poke about to see what this forum is all about!


I have only built 2 boats, A 90mm Trawler and a Caldercraft 'Talacre' which I have just about finished.


I am trying to decide something for the next project, possibly another Caldercraft, Schaarhorn or a Mountfleet Admiralty Coaster.


For the time being I am completing my Fathers Mountfleet puffer as due to his MS he is not able to model anymore which is a shame since he has been my inspiration for my own modelling. I'd Really like a IOW Paddle Stream or such if there was a decent kit available as I don't really have the skills or more importantly time to spend with kids n such.

Welcome to the forum they are very nice boats indeed  :-)) :-))   Fermoy is a lovely part of Ireland I remember delivery some industrial inverters to a chemical platers there about 6 years ago.  Nice place and nice people.

Hi George looks a super model well done. I particularly like the way you have weathered her in such a realistic way, steam too eh, is that from a clever gadget or real from a Boiler? I am just a beginner so I genuinely don't know!!
