I've found that Deans Marine customer service is second to none, I've ordered parts, full kits and always have been completely satisfied.

Another happy customer  :-))
Ordered late Friday afternoon and my HMS Manxman kit arrived Tuesday afternoon. Great service and I’m looking forward to building the fast minelayer. Many thanks Ron :-)

Hi Ian

It certainly is! I read a recently new book called ‘Very Special Ships’ which was all about the Abdiel class minelayers, the beginnings in WW1 of proper minelayers, the failure of HMS Adventure, and the entire class of the infamous Abdiels and what happened to the survivors post WW2. Really opened my eyes, I thought I knew a fair bit on the subject but what happens to each of the ships is amazing. And one other thing- it looks like a perfect mix of destroyer and cruiser all in one! :-))

I had a boss who was a retired LtCdr Navigator who was Navigator of Manxman when they took part in a movie. I don't know what the movies was/is, but I think they played a German raider. If anyone can throw light on that movie it might be worth a viewing.

Thanks to Ron for quick response to my order. Unfortunately, the Post Office are obviously having problems, as it arrived today. 8 days later. Farcet is 12 miles from me.
Stay safe everyone.

I understand that the Post Office (as well as all the other delivery firms) are having problems., but they are still charging extra for things like next day, or 48 hour delivery, knowing full well that they can't manage it.I've had items with a 48hr sticker on them that have taken over a week.  Just be honest and tell us that the so called time scales are not achievable.
