And of course there's always Mayhem's own image hosting site.  Definitely free and always will be, no issue with file size and even watermarks your images so nobody can pinch them.

When I was a kid I was bought a classic car book. In it was a Hispano Suiza with a Tulip wood body which made a great impression on me at the time. This reminds me of that. Lovely.

That Bentley is superb. The Hispanio is not bad either.

Amen to that. Mayhem without Ken is like existence without cake  %%

I always enjoy your builds and am pleased that you have found your confidence and are doing such fine work.

The Bentley looks superb, and better balanced than the Hispano, though that looks a bobby dazzler as well  :}

Hi all well I've made a big decision (I thought there was too much back end on it) so I've decided theres enough room for rear seats. There were lots of coach builders in those days and you could have it built anyway you liked if you had the money, so whose to say it wasnt like this.
The only thing now I've bitten the bullet is should I stick with a single seat or go with a double and have I gone back far enough.

This is the best thing you have done Ken. The colours, finish and look is beautiful  :-)) I initially thought the shape and cut of the hole for the rear seats detracted, but you then modified it and have brought it right back to quality.
Ironically, I think it looks a bit wasp like, but black and yellow would look disgusting on such a gorgeous shape, and think the red works so much better especially with the red tones of the wood.

If I had the money and access to a chassis and running gear, I would have the restorers refer directly to your build and scheme Ken.

Thanks guys.
Hi all, done a lot of work on it over the weekend.
I've got big ambitions to make the throttle linkages up (we will see how far the ambition gets compared to how much skill and patience I have) I must say I'm quite pleased with how shes looking at the moment.

Ps look what I just ordered (cant wait for it to get here)

When the Bentley's finished if it doesn't start up and tear off down the road to Goodwood I'll be surprised because it looks like it could.  :-))

From a model perspective, I prefer the Bentley over the more modern Porsche.......the Bentleys engine blower with the two huge SU carburetors are amazing  O0

Are you replacing the brake rods with your own versions as well? That linkage looks great with the section done so.

What would one in engineering circles call such a kink?

It is starting to look 1/1 scale Ken. I think the quality of the metallic finishes and fine parts are what is doing it.
