Hi Derek sorry for the slow response! Fred Ellis has sent some excellent photos of the real vessel which is going to help greatly when it comes to weathering.


I've started some of the detail painting and some of the pipework which breaks up the yellow a bit.

Crane construction is finished, finished putting the hoses on and added the control levers. Also made a start on the weathering, just given a couple of general washes for now, for the chipping and proper weathering I've got some photos to work from

Oh yes, that is a fine example of well used machinery! It always helps when the kit is detailed, but the finish still has to be good and this certainly is.
