CYGNUS CYCLONE 30- HELP.
« on: May 18, 2020, 10:52:03 pm »

Hi everyone,
I have been asked to build a model for a skipper of his full size CYGNUS boat. It is fibreglass 32 inch long and a beam of 13 inch. That roughly equates to 1/12th scale. His full size vessel planes at 25 knots. He wants the model to replicate that sort of performance. I would like some advice about a suitable brushless set up to achieve this. I only have experience of brushed set ups so if anyone has a similar sized boat running on a brushless set up I would love to know what you use and recommend.
If you can offer sound advice I would love to hear from you.

Thanks, Andy
