Caught Short?!
« on: June 24, 2020, 06:30:38 pm »

OK, not really about model boats but for those of us who fancy a (socially distanced) day out in the nice weather, some public spirited citizens have set up a website which shows public WCs open across the UK:

https://www.lockdownloo.com/

It is constantly being added to and performs a real public service for those who would like to go bit further afield but are afraid of travelling beyond reasonable bladder range!  :o

Now there is a good idea. Especially for us old farts whose bladders have gone a bit slack.

I like the one for John Lewis in Kingston (we used to go there regularly BC ). the bog is off a corridor which they have made one way. If after passing the strategic point you decide the need, too late your stuffed . You can't backtrack but have to continue and leave the store and go round the outside of the building to re-join the queue to be allowed back in the front door again. That's dear old JS all over, they train em specially.

A most useful website.   In Oz we have had one for some years and it covers the whole country. Very helpful if you are in the middle of the Nullabour desert, 2 there, or Ti tree (pronounced tea) miles out of The Alice (Alice Springs)  O0
