does anyone know if David Leftley is still running?
I require lifeboat decals for a Tamar 1/16 scale

Well I found out about this from Capt Podge, You just need some inkjet water slide decal paper and some clear sealer spray, my inkjet printer is nothing special but it dose the job, now I can only make decals for a white background as I don't have white ink in my printer, but basically you can do your own graphics or do a internet search for what you want, adjust to the size you want print it on the special paper spray with the sealer three coats, and then apply like any other waterslide decal, the one in the photo was a test piece for my latest build, applied to the lid, It may not be what John's looking for but it may be an option.

Yes you can get the paper and the upol lacquer on e-bay, make sure you get the right paper "clear"
