Tamiya XR311/Cheetah suspension parts needed.
« on: July 14, 2020, 06:52:30 pm »

Hi All

Having returned to the r/c hobby with my boats, I dug out an old Tamiya Cheetah which was a ‘bag of bits’ taken in p/x for my fully built Tamiya Sand Scorcher many many years ago! I’m now in the process of rebuilding it.

Was hoping someone might have a spare spring and end adjuster (see phots) hanging around in their odds and end box. Spring isn’t as important as the little plastic part bit, I can always make or find something similar..

Are the XR311 re-release adjusters the same? I know the torsion bars a way different, but looking at the plastic adjustor does look the same as the metal torsion bars look to have a small plastic end which looks like the end of the old plastic bar.

I am rebuilding my Cheetah and have lost one of the four that the torsion bar fits into, I still have all the torsion bars in good condition. Which considering the Cheetah is very old surprised me.

Here’s hoping, happy to pay for it and postage by the way.

Many thanks.

John.
