Bristol Channel Pilot Cutter hulls from Sarik hobbies ?
Arjan:
I'm interested in Bristol Channel Pilot Cutters and I noticed some fiber glass hulls in 1/15 scale are available at Sarik hobbies. I wonder if anyone has any experience with these hulls from Sarik hobbies. I wonder if they bought the Cutter hull moulds from Kingston Mouldings ? Thanks in advance.

This is the hull plus set of plans I'm interested in :

I would like to see some pics of a finished model but I haven't found anything on the internet.

I've just received the 1/12 "Katie" hull I ordered :

As far as I can tell the quality is excellent but it's really massive :-) :
My only regret is that I forgot to order the 13 ft boarding punt also available at Sarik hobbies.

Hi,
I have a Hilda2 in 1/12. It's decent hull, exept it leaks a bit but its easily repairable. Only two things bothered me: I didn't have proper glue for polyester and plans are much to be desired. If you dont know these boats in real life it gives you hard time building it properly.
Greetings
Arjan:
Thanks for your response. I agree that the quality of the drawings is very disappointing indeed, especially those of "Katie". This is probably because this particular hull wasn't based on an existing vessel. It does, however, look like Katie's hull was at least inspired by that of the Pilot Cutter "Breeze" Unfortunately, I haven't managed to find any exterior photos of "Breeze" after her restoration. These are the only pics I've managed to find :

I would appreciate pics from (old) build reports of rc Pilot Cutters, especially those with a glass fiber hull.
Regards,
Arjan
