Do you have a sketch of how you operate the door? and its hinge mechanism, just fascinated in how it looks so minimalist, i.e. at the hinge there appears to be little to show how the top part rotates just short of 180°

The pull-line for opening goes through a hole in the upper part of the hatch and is attached to the lower one n the inside on a nail.
The pull-line for closing is attached to the upper hatch on the inside to a shorter nail. I needed something to help in the closing phase so a piece of rubber band is attached between the two halves of the hatch to help, the rubber band wants to force the lower part to flip out sort of.
