I am just back from modelshopleeds they have a very big stock of Graupner propellers so I thought I'd check what's in the packet.


With Graupner a propeller marked as CW is in fact left handed and the reason for this is Graupner identify rotation viewed from the motor and NOT from behind i.e. the way Raboesch used to do  %%


To be fair to MSL their sales pages do specify viewed from the motor  :-)


EXAMPLE this pictured is a right hand viewed from the stern but because Graupner identify viewed from the motor they call it left hand on the packaging.

...That's been the case for ages.  I think some websites (like Cornwall Model Boats?) also have the reminder on the listings for some reason the Germans look at it from the front not the back.
