Thanks for the advice , but I think with the modified under hull and a good balanceof the boat  should sail well and I'm not worried . The only small problem is that the jets are more designed for a 1:12 boat than a 1:16 and they are a little bit bulky .

Yes you are correct Marco there was never any intention to do a 1:16 drive as MBD didn’t offer a 1:16 hull.
OceanWorks have just filled a gap off cuff and it’s not ideal

See in the R&D thread it was specific to 1:12 and all OceanWorks have done now is fit a smaller jet to the original intake unit. This is clearly the case as they only sell one size of intake grill in the spares section.
Given your skills I know you will make it a grand scratch build  :-))

If they don't fit a speedline hull they must be wrong. {-)

You can still get 1/16th Shannons, not from me now but see Tony Blakewell on FB and ebay.
All the castings including the jet drive castings and fendering are also available in about a month or so. 1/12th scale moulding sets are also available but no castings etc. Again, see Tony B.

Hi Marco,

How is your 1/16th build going? Some progress pictures would be good!
