Trafford Model Boat Club
« on: August 29, 2020, 02:47:27 pm »

Hi All

I'm recently returning to the hobby after a long hiatus and am now living the Warrington/Manchester area (WA3). I've seen a few mentions of a Trafford Model Boat Club but can't see anything more recent than 2017ish. I can see there are some other clubs a bit further but I was ideally looking for something close. Does anyone know if the club is still active?

Kind Regards
Richard

I used to be a member of the North West Scale Model Boat Club, originally based at Haigh Hall Wigan - moving the Horwich near the squirrel Pub on the way out to adlington, don't know if they are still going, there's Bury Lido, not really had a good experience with them and then there is the Blackleach reservoir club in Walkden - who seem to consist of about 3-6 members, don't know what they are called.  :-))
