A 50 something, I'll check with him tomorrow. That was what I was going to fit and liking Overlanders their 50/45 720kV fits the bill. 400 is rather low and would require 5 or 6S to give decent performance.

The photo shows it running on 3S and he is going to try 4S tomorrow.

Cheers, I know what you mean obsessive,  as well as my current 23" Slec version, I now have this rather battered unloved 33" precedent version from Fleabay (£30)

He is using a Surepower 50/65 760kV 1800 watts which I don't think are available anymore. The Overlander is 860 watts. They do a higher wattage/lower kV though.


Leopard do a 5055 650kV 1411 watts e.g. Component Shop but out of stock at the moment.

Got My Slec 47" Huntsman, Seems to be a hybrid between the old Precedent kit and Slecs smaller Huntsman.

Doesn't look too daunting! What's your overall impression of the quality of the wood etc?

100% better than the older Precedent kits.... Even get (like the smaller one) a laser etched deck.
