Anyone local to me?
« on: October 17, 2020, 07:57:52 am »

Hi all, I need a hand in getting my tug setup. I bought it ready built and fitted my reciever and it all lights up
But for the life of me I can’t get it running. Is there anybody close to Epsom Surrey who could take a look and tell me where I’m going wrong?

Regards

Darren

Hi  If not I'm sure someone  could walk you through it.make a list of what you have fitted and how you have connected up the receiver to the  Esc (speed controller} battery /servo and  how you did the binding of the radio gear . cheers

Aft  - Component Shop - Power distribution board.

Port & Starboard - ESC ( 5 & 6 )  Electronic speed Controllers.  Mtronics

Forward - Another ESC, probably for bow thruster. Micro gyros.

Starboard Bow - Radio receiver ( Rx ) Frsky?  probably 2.4Ghz

Do the motors 'twitch' or 'play tunes' when you switch on?

Can you post a pic of your transmitter?

Update here chaps and it’s not good.... following Stand kind advice I’ve reattached one red wire but it’s still not functioning properly. I can’t seem to get the right channels working on the transmitter.

I know it will be a bit irritating, but list what is working / what isn't!
It'll help you.... us define the problem.

eg:

CH 1 - Rudder - Good, L/R OK
CH 2 - Starboard Motor -
CH 3 - Port         Motor -
CH 4 - Bow Thruster     -
