Mini Belt Sander

Has anyone bought one of these?
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4000-9000RPM-Mini-Belt-Sander-Bench-Polishing-Grinding-Machine-Buffer-25mm-15mm/293634870779?var=592451327417
There are various variations on the theme on ebay. Looks attractive to me due to its small size, and modest price.

Funny coincidence, I've been looking at just the same the last week. Not bit the bullet just yet, trying to find one dispatched from the UK. Otherwise they're just the right size for the jobs I do.

Are you happy with the supply of sanding belts?
When I looked some time ago the choice of 330 x 25 belts was both limited & costly.

As a possible solution there are plenty of videos on YouTube about making your own belts from larger ones.

There seems to be enough supplies of the 300'odd mm 10mm wide belts on eBay but not the wider ones which are of more interest to me.

Having read a few reviews I don't think it is worth a gamble. I messaged one of the sellers to ask if he supplied spare belts but got no reply - I lost interest then.

I saw those myself, they look very toy town machines to me and I wasn't going to chance it before deciding to by the 'Craft' one

I did hear someone say that they thought the motor was underpowered and the whole thing slowed down when a bit of pressure applied.
I’ll try and hunt the info out
