New Building Board
« on: November 24, 2020, 06:25:14 pm »

I have spent most of today making a new board for a project I hope to start in 2021. Just a couple of pictures showing the board construction 15 mm ply top and softwood bearers underneath. Any ideas  what the build may be? The board is 1 ft wide  and 5ft long after the project is built the board will be scrapped or given away. Future posts will be in this section.

Stan, whatever it is, remember we are all getting on in years and we have to able to handle these things. I am now building boats that I cannot handle and the are only a metre long, I wish you luck in your build, nemesis

HI Guys will not keep you in the dark the board is for a very rare kit the Sterling American Scout. The kit model is 50 inch long not sure of the width but to bring it up to 1/96 scale it would increase in length by 7 in
