Hi, Can anybody help me to post pics from my Mac


I get to Attachments and other options


When I click on to that Attach comes up with choose file box  but no browser connection. so I am unable to bring pics from Desktop or any other File.


I would appreciate some help.

I am unable to help with a Mac machine issue, however in the short term.....if you wish your images added to a Posting, just e-mail the images to my landline e-mail address & I would be more than happy to add them to your Posts under your name

Hi, Can anybody help me to post pics from my Mac

I thought I'd got the same issue when trying to post an image from a Mac and have always, in the past, had to upload the image to my own server and add it via a link...

However - I've just tried doing it via the "Attachments and other options" link and it works 

The only thing to be aware of, so far as I can see, is that any such image won't show up when you "Preview" the post. It only shows when you actually "Post" it.

*Edited to add that I've done this in Firefox

George also be aware of the file size, as sometimes from my Mac it will not attach as the the picture is too big

Hi Phil and Dave.

 I am quite puzzled by events.
On the 15th Nov on Jerry's thread I posted pics in my usual manner with no problem.

I wrote my message and then had the pics ready on the desktop to the size below 300kb as usual.

I clicked on to + Attachments and other options.

The page changed to Attach with box below to Choose file
Clicked on the choose file and a drop down box came up on the top R/H side.
I picked Desktop and the  pics that I wanted 1- at a time and they all registered in the choose file boxes
Clicked post and away they went

No problem as this was how I have been posting pics for years.

Now when I get to the choose file box, click on it and nothing happens!!!!!!!!

As  Mac users any thoughts ??

Message understood George....it was only a stopgap measure idea......it is good to see you have the issue resolved.......and these last two high definition images [in the other Thread] present an excellent inspiration for other Modelers etc

Hi  In Nov I put up post "Attaching photos" this was for Windows 10 but there are a number of exchanges for Mac.Might be usefullCheers
