Introduction
« on: December 25, 2020, 02:18:38 am »

Merry Christmas to all.
I sincerely hope that you and yours are all well in the current circumstances.

Mty name is Paul, From Brisbane Australia,& although I signed up a few weeks ago, I haven't made much of a contribution. I've just been scrolling through topics that appeal to me, learning & gathering information for some upcoming builds.

I may be new to this site but not new to model boat building.

I started off, many years ago building scale & semi scale models. But then drifted over to building & racing FE Boats.
Most of my forum activity has been over on Offshore Electrics & R/C Groups.

I just thought I'd come over to this forum for a breath of fresh air, & to annoy you guys for a while. :-)

I've just started a scratch build of the Novgorod, So I'll start a build thread on that for anyone interested.
I guess it should be in the Navy - Military section.

Anyway. That's enough for now.
Have a wonderful day.

Paul.

Hi Martin.
Looks like you've got the ideal day ahead of you.

Here's a couple of links to some of my scale boats & some of my racing boats from my blog over on R/C Groups.

Thanks Doug.
Yes it's 6:15 in the evening as I type this. So the evening drinks & leftovers are on the menu soon.

Hi Paul

You've certainly been busy and produced a varied selection of craft, and that's only a few of them!

Good stuff.

Dave.
Thanks for the welcome. Enjoyment is the name of the game. So, yes I will.

Chris.
I've always liked to build different types.
When I say a few, it's probably more like most. But there are more that I didn't add to the blog. They were either built for other club members, or sold before they were completely finished. even some downstairs waiting to be finished.
Cheers.

Hi Peter.
Thanks for the invite.
I'm amember of the SSS Model Boat Group.
Although some of our members make a trip down to you guys every now & then, I haven't been able to make it due to work commitments.
I'll see if I can make the next trip. Depending on when/if the borders are open.
All the best.
Paul.
