Hi just to wanted to say hello to everyone I am new to model boats after spending many years building 5 inch gauge locos and I was looking for to a new challenge so here I am and I hope I don’t ask too many stupid questions as I learn from you all.
My main interest is in modern lifeboats with a long interest in the Severn class lifeboat I have already found so much information on the class from the forum.
I am not too familiar with the posting so please if I make any mistakes please forgive me.

Hi Archer welcome, there's a lot of knowledge on the forum, no such thing as a stupid question here so ask away I'm sure someone will have an answer, if you can build a 5" loco a model boat will be a doddle. :-))
