Hi all;

Today my Najade went over to next step to apply the printed sheet of the decks and both side stairs.!
The work was so simple except for locating precisely the sheets and care for not to invite the pinpoint bubbles
between the sheets and decks. {:-{ :((

Pic No6;Time-slipped Najade observing surprisingly the Jolly Roger in the background in the Caribbean sea..?? {-) %%

Hi all;
Pics for today are also the applications of printed sheets of decks, instrument panel and building of guard rails  for stair opening on the upper deck. %)

Hi all;
Introduction of my family as shown below.! %% {-) O0
wife,two daughters and a grand daughter aboard the boat are seen this time .
And I am still looking for a suitable handsome husband on the internet for my daughter.... {-) %% {-) {-) ok2 :-)

These kinds of figures are very important to add more scale realism and natural atmosphere to the model boat, aren't they?

The port of registry is La Spezia, Italy around where I stayed for 2 weeks for a business with a certain heavy industries
company there about 40 years ago.The port was so impressively beautiful for me in those days. O0
My Najade has been  fitted with small parts as shown with a flag of Italy of a fond memory of young days.... %%

Hi all;

These are the pics of the maiden run on my local lake.
The initial impression was the silent brushless motor for her speed,partly due to the double disk coupling.
You can hear the sound in the following short video slightly taken by my fellow modeler.
Even under the pretty cloudy sky,her whiteness itself seemed so impressively brilliant like a single flower of lily lonely in the
field. {-) %% %)

She appears to approach 'plane mode' where the hull elevates and flattens out....but doesn't quite get there :o

Could a revision to the battery weight to FWD, be considered?

Your comment is often to the point which I think so.
I set the batteries as indicated in the manual,but I feel it necessary to put some kind of tiny weight
in the bow side to refrain a slight nose-up when especially at faster speed.
Frankly speaking, I have been aware of this point.... And you also have noticed this phenomenon,,,??
I'll try that in coming April when my local lake will be re-open to the public.
A picture of the kit box seems nearly the same as my boat sailing pose.....?? %) {:-{
Still pose and/or bow-stern balance are also like a real one....
This may be from a powerful brushless motor of 2050KV by which her nose is apt to rise....?
Or from a design characteristic as I built this boat fundamentally and faithfully based on the manual... {:-{
Everything will be made clear if this phenomenon? may be improved or hull characteristic in April test... ;D
Other U-tube videos may also be of some reference if this phenomenon could be observed... O0

Yes, an image shown of acceleration could be considered more interesting or attractive, however the Captain would be more interested in lower fuel consumption when on the plane, or the model captain reduced current draw for the same speed?  :-X

Stability of the vessel on the plane may or may not be a consideration?.......I have no real understanding here

OK, I will try an adjustment of balance to gain more really planing mode at high speed,which I did not
care for so much so far..as this is a luxury cabin cruiser which I think will look a real boat and natural for her graceful appearance at present speed seen in my video below.

Major difference from the original design by crick(Robbe)kit is what I call swimmers deck in the appearance.
By adding this deck,I expected the contour to be more streamlined than original contour that looked as if
the stern had been cut out for me... {:-{
Moreover,actual boat(Sunseeker Manhattan 48?) has the deck that looks rather elegant than the crick design...  O0
The overall length of my Najade is 105cm now.
