Hi all;

I added a mechanism tray to enlarge more space to modify the layout of the components.
By this work,I could set the sound module and 2 speed transmission servo.

Attention to the snow-capped Mt.Fuji in the background in Pic No5,taken in last Jan.
The Mt.Fuji is located about 100km away from Tokyo ,though it continues normally fine-days
 clear of the clouds due to a little strong north wind in this winter season here in. ok2 %)

Here we went on a picnic some 30kms away from Tokyo today together with a 1/10 Jeep Gladiator
as it was a very fine day in a breeze of spring when the cherry has started to blossom out here in Tokyo area.
The course was only less than 5kms round and the temperature was 19 degrees C.♬~♩~♪~🎵 %%
1;Mt.Fuji can be seen beside me today too.
2;Many water birds can be seen.
3;So easy to surpass this level of stairs for this rock crawler. %%

5;So easy to climb this level of 40 degrees bank! %%

Hi all;

And I added a set of sound module like these to enjoy the an atmosphere as if a real car was running.
But to my regret,this is not proportional to the running speed which I think OK.
Because  I normally let it run so slowly together with my walking speed so that the speed is constantly slow,
by which the sound like idling speed in the module will do.  O0 {-) ♪~♬~♩~♫~(^^♪

I made a simulated exhaust muffler with twin pipes since the rear view of the car looked
terribly strange without these.!! :(( O0
The model Jeep Gladiator is truly electric -powered, while the real one is gas- powered.!! {-) O0
First of all,I designed the shape of the muffler of my own style regardless of the real one,
and not seriously to scale, like a kind of dressing up.!!
I prepared the materials like these from my junk box.
to be continued..

Interesting vehicle! Just found this section of the forum. I have a Tamiya Hornet old school. Does your vehicle move at walking speed and not too fast?

Even I used to enjoy to run the Tamiya Hornet as well,while my child played so called mini4WD Hornet racing car
driven by FA-130 motor with 2 AA batteries. {-)
My above rock crawler is able to run at about 14km/h at maximum with the second gear,while 10km/h with
low gear.

In the next place,I built two exhaust pipes as shown below and set them to the muffler body
underneath the rear chassis provisionally to check if they fitted properly. And I thought it OK as these
were just for dressing purpose only!! %% {-)

Hi RC scale rock crawler enthusiasts;
I attached a pair of tow hooks as shown.

Hi all;
It's a fine day today here in Tokyo with outside temperature of 22 degree C ,a little cloudy and breeze.
So it means we should go on a picnic seeking for an ambience of spring like to enjoy cherry blossom and
other typical flowers of this season.! %%  Of course together with 1/10 Jeep Gladiator and someone else.. :embarrassed:
1;The lake is seen beyond ,where is my sailing place still under repair to be over through this May.... {:-{ <:(

Hi all;
I enjoyed a long distance walk of 9.4km at the riverside together with the 1/10 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon and my old wife.
It was comparatively fine today and we hesitated to go far away with my car for so called sightseeing spots under
emergency declaration on covid-19 by our government to go through 11th.
Followings are some of the impressive pics I took through walking.

It's in mid-spring here in Tokyo with an outside temperature of 21degree C and still in the midst of so called Golden Week. %%

Hi all;

The front bumper guard was found partially damaged several days ago which I had made using Tamiya parts.
The damage I suppose may have been caused in the previous long distance cruising along the river and still remember
some suspicious cases like to get over the horizontal obstacles roughly over 10cm high and so on.
I decided to fully replace with another aluminum sturdy one found on the internet this time.
1;Damaged bumper guard made of plastics.
2;New one looks sturdy.
3;Just comparison
4;Re-driled new 3 holes to fit with the holes on the front underside.
5;Attached the new one
6/7;Overall images.The undersides is kept flat perfectly as before. %% O0

Well,when shall I go for a next long cruising run..? If possible,I wish to make a trail run for around 6km or so..
BUT before that, I have to go to my local lake for sailing my Najade.!!! %% O0 ;D

Hi all;
It was fine day today and AT LAST I did it with my Jeep Gladiator.! I renewed the longest walking record with this car.! {-) %%
That is 18.74km round trip of 5hours using 2 packs of 3S 5000mAh lipo. My weight reduced by 2kgs with this walking.!
This is my way of useful co-existence between RC hobby and health.!!?? O0 {-) %% %) ok2 🎼~♬~♪~♫~♩
One of the reasons why I did this walking was just  because I wanted to know how long one battery of 5000mAh lipo goes on until it was exhausted.!
The result this time was around 9.3km with nearly continuous walking about at the speed of 4km/h....
I am one of the aged marathon runners still now and possibly will be until over 80s!! {-) %% ;D Keeping a good health is so important to fulfil the intention and RC model operations on the water as well,moreover in happy life!!
1;Digital voltage display unit is clearly seen at this place always while walking. %%
2;Many yellow irises were waiting here to cheer us.!! O0
3;River side field
4;The first battery has been exhausted at this time and distance ,over 9km run and decided to go back home with the 2nd      battery spending over another 2 hours! O0
5;Today it was supposed to suffer from PM2.5 in the yellow sand in the wind blowing from China according to the weather cast. Yellow sand is said to contain PM2.5 and other harmful substances so that I wore a face mask and eye glasses to protect my health in addition to covid-19.
6;Taking a rest at 12km point on the way back home.
7;The Tokyo sky tree tower was seen in the background.
8; This is the result for today when getting back home..The above figures show average speed of walking per hour.

Walked walked and walked,now tired around both feet. {-) {-)
What is your something like sports to keep a good health??

Hi all;
I went to a certain artificial lake for the water supply of Tokyo in the far west of metropolitan Tokyo and 17miles away
from my home.There is an air base of our Air Force near the lake where is just under the landing approach course of the military planes that passed over us nearly every 3 through 4 minutes  just like our commuters' rail way services in the morning. {-) {:-{  Therefore it was terrifically noisy for the visitors,residents and wild life there as well while it's a good place to do whatever we like.... {:-{ :((
Well then,shall we go to the pics for today of the 4mile-walk with my beloved Jeep Gladiator Rubicon 1/10 ?! ;)
1;The entrance gate of the park
2;We Tokyoites are drinking this water..
3;Through the forest.
4;The Jeep just going beside the stairs..
5;The tires got muddily already and a digital V display is clearly seen at the rear which is always useful in a long walk.! O0
6;Shall we go to the rest of the course as we finished the lunch!
7;There is a pond suitable for RC model boating..? Of course, strictly forbidden here.!
8;A jet trainer could be well seen with the flaps  and all the landing gears fully down.! Nice approach !!?? {-)

Hi all;
I attached a dropout prevention netting for many accessories on the rack of my Jeep Gladiator Rubicon as seen in the following pics.
With this netting,I could expect to exclude unnecessary anxiety if I might lose some accessories when running in a long trail run that I am fond of and do frequently. {-) O0 %% !
An improvement to the RC model is always from an actual and frequent activity by which the RCed model will be leading to completion both in name and in reality.?? O0 O0 %%
1;When passing through this kind of grassy field unintentionally,I felt an anxiety to lose some parts from the body of the car.
2/6;The solution is this netting!! O0 O0 O0 %% {-)

Hi all;
Rainy season is over already here in Tokyo,and most of Japan,at the same time,too hot days are continuing instead.! {:-{
It's in the mid-summer all over Japan,recording continuous high temperatures over 34 degree C outsides across the country......!! {:-{ :((
Yes, RC boating is now in high season except the high temperature....
Therefore I went to Lake Okushima located 140km north of Tokyo for running my Axial Jeep Gladiator Rubicon 1/10 as seen in the pics below.
This was rather a short running of 4km around the lake.
1;Let's start here!
2;Hydrangea welcomed me on the way.!
3;Budda's flowers were seen.
4;There was a small stream and flowing so silently in the calm nature...
5;4km trailing around the lake was cheerful in the great nature where other people was hardly seen on the way,partly
  due to week day.
6;In the background were the lake and dam.
7;The summer cloud and the blue sky....the mid-summer day when I enjoyed the RC car and the wonderful and calm nature..
8;Are you enjoying RC model operations? :-)) %%

Hi all;
I went out for driving my 1/10 Jeep Gladiator today to my local lake 11 km away from my house to enjoy the nature of
late summer and confirm how the lake had been in these days for RC boating. ;D
The pics below are the scenes taken in the process of operating my Jeep spending two hours to go as far as 5.4km round trip.
1;The lake was soooo good enough to enjoy the RC boating regardless of kinds of the RC models.!! %% {-)
  Next time I may go here ,I may be carry my Najade or Jupiter F-99 to enjoy the speed and splash by the boats...?? O0
2;This is my sailing water 270m wide.
3; A great number of cluster amaryllis was seen beside the road last year that I like very much,but this year they had been
  already mowed cleanly by the machine..... >>:-( <:(
4;A RC operated mower was working still now to cut my favorite flowers <:( <:( >>:-( >>:-( ...

5;Took a rest at 3.5km point in the shade.!!
6;The Jeep also took a rest in the shade for a while...
7;Run and run and run under the temperature of 31 degree C around the lake..
8;The result for today is like this..5.37km 11.8V with 3C lipo fully charged.

Hi all;
Here are the pics taken yesterday of a bike towing trailer with a Jeep Gladiator.
It's easy and interesting to do this on a good terrain, but troublesome to do on a long ,grassy and rocky terrains
which you may easily imagine why...What is worse,it takes more electric power so that I usually do not this towing mode
especially in a long distance run like I did yesterday.
The bike in the pics is Kawasaki KX250F for your information.!
Last two pics are from the internet images of a real Jeep. {-)
