2 types of billing boats banckert

hi is there two types of billing boats banckert..i have the early 510/511 kit minus the hull and was wondering if the 516 banckert is the same size and scale so i could look out for a spare hull

I believe that the early ones were plank on frame, later version was an ABS hull.
