Charger info wanted
« on: January 26, 2021, 11:33:52 am »

Hi, I have been given a "Turnigy" LiPo, et all charger. It did not come with leads or instructions. I managed to get the booklet but at a loss as to the feed plug. There are three pins, recessed in the housing which is curved at one end, Question, which pin is POS and which pin is NEG and why three pins?, Thank you , nemesis

Nemesis, is it like this laptop connection? (male)
If so, a replacement lead may be in Poundland, Asda, Tesco etc

Hi, is it a "D" shaped lead if so it's also an IEC lead, or "kettle" lead? Any pointers to a model number or pic, you mention + and - which wouldn't fit so much the description of an AC power lead. Otherwise we're taking pot shot guesses.

DC connectors above 24 volt are recessed for safety, often 3 pin, two out of three pins connected.
Is it maybe a 7s, 10s or even 13s Lipo charger for ebike or scooter battery?
Look them up for replacement or mind the voltage when testing polarity.

Hope I have found it out, the three pin recessed is for the temp gauge, the power lead on mine is a round socket. The picture I saw has a Deans in its place, Dont know if that is a factory fitting or someones Ad Lib, Thanks to all for your input, nemesis
