For the moment here in the NW, clear skies and sunny, yesterday was very light hail stones where they were slowly coming down, quite large and broke apart on contact with the ground, akin to a clump of flour that hits the bowl.

In South Hampshire woke up to a sunny morning , but it had been raining, so I went for a chilly walk with the dogs in the sunshine.

Swing shift -midnight to 7am- considered to be the worst shift due to the sleep pattern being so far out from normal. We provide a 24 hour 7 day a week cover for any emergency. Didn’t expect to do a nose wheel change in the snow but the aircraft was needed for 7am.

:}  Rumours are that a Herc can apparently take off with two main wheels missing but I don’t I could find any aircrew who would want to try it!
