Does anyone cut balsa to size?
« on: March 22, 2021, 03:25:59 pm »

As above.  Does anyone supply a water/laser cutting service for balsa sheet at reasonable cost? I'm planning a tri hull design and need six identical pieces which I don't trust myself to get matching or symmetrical  {-)

Try any of the big kit makers. Deans Marine, Mountfleet, SLEC, Jotika, Mobile Marine  just to name a few.  Most model  builders tend to cut their own

SLEC will supply & cut balsa for you - if you need help with the drawing conversion to dxf (CAD) (which is what most lasers run on ) contact me via PM - can help with that
