Moonraker power?
« on: March 26, 2021, 03:18:13 pm »

I was lucky enough to get a just started Graupner Moonraker, but the paperwork that came with it (this was second hand) is very confusing.  It has 3 Graupner 700BB motors running jet drives, also a bow thruster.  The outside drives are two  for maneuvering (esc controlled) and the centre is switched and is purely for thrust.  According to the paperwork, very confusing, it can run on anything from about 7.2v up to 28v.
Can anyone suggest a reasonable power supply either 6v up to about 11.1v, or even 12v Gel, I'm not really sure what it should be running on ?I do not want to change the motors, but just need a reasonable power supply.  Even if I have to put it through a power distribution board to select different voltages.Any ideas would be welcome.
