After a brief break to play with some robotics I've completed another build, this one is an Aeromarine Conquest 44.
Power for this is an RCMK 254 evo, with a Chinese pipe. Came across the engine in a swap, the hull was only £50 second hand (unstarted) and most of the other bits I already had, so this thing has cost me less than £150 to build.
The holes in the hatch look a little odd as it's a bit of a poorly designed hull, others have found that in order to get it to not blow over it requires the engine being as far forward as possible. I managed to get the RCMK extremely far forward, which has created the need for a cutout in the lid for both the exhaust header and carb, the latter needing a carbon splash sheild adding to avoid any water ingress to the engine.
Waiting on a couple of finishing touches in the post - water fittings, receiver and a better exhaust bracket, then it'll be off to the lake for testing. Engine is already run in and set up so it'll hopefully just be a case of putting the right prop on it.
