Help required.
« on: April 16, 2021, 05:13:47 pm »

Good evening gentlemen !
For my wife birthday, I offered myself a Stuart, Double drum boiler. She is very pleased as you guess ! %)
my problem is that I do not know the exact name of it and above all what size, type burner I need for it.
I intend to restaure it entirely, but it has to be done properly.
Thanks for any information you have .
Kind regards.

Although it looks like a Stuart I don't think it is, as it is much larger. It looks more like a home constructed version

Good morning.
Thank you for these precious informations. I had a doubt concerning this boiler original or not, and you confirm what I scared  , it is a home made home: Stuart TYPE.
All is in "TYPE".

The burner seems to be a petrol or alcool one. I guess that now that I am out of the picture , I'll make a gas ramp to heat it up. It will be a good boiler but "Unknown origin" one ! {-)
I'll keep you inform for sure.
Thanks for all.
Regards.

Good morning.
Still working at finding if this "antic" boiler , is a known manufacturer's one : Steven Dock Yard, Stuart,  .... (Cann't find any !) or other, I would appreciate if someone would have some old files, documentations  and look at them to find this boiler.
It works good with a flat ceramic burner and runs a SUN at 2.5 b without problem . The autonomy is short +/- 10 min with such an engine and would require a feed pump for a more elaborated project .
Thanks for your help !
Regards.
