On Australian television a few days ago, we saw a scenario between fishing fleets that didn't really make sense, so with the Australian PM in the UK now  %) , why not ask him to have a word to the Froggies

Afterall he is on exceptionally really good talking terms with the French President at the moment  >>:-( <*<  ............  {-)   :-X

They never appreciate had it not been for us and others they would be speaking German. They did not like our cap badge (my Avatar) much when we were to and from Toulon wonder why %)

Perhaps it's because it reminds them of where they met their Waterloo! What with that, Trafalgar and Mers el Kabir   its no wonder they have the terminal hump with Le Rosbif

I'm sure it does our badge rubbed it in  it was their imperial standard till we took it. I was in Brussels for the 150th anniversary of  Waterloo  with most of the regiments that were involved. Visited Waterloo and the museum got an awful lot of staring from the civvy visitors  yes they do think they won
