At last a jet pack that looks and acts efficiently enough to use in action. The ladder idea looked good but one Marine or sailor screening the ascent of one fellow crewman isn't going to last long if the crew suddenly bring the AKs out. But armed with SA80 carbines and going in with several marines with jet packs while covering ascent by conventional troops would be a surprise for any naughty men :)

It appears that when using the jet pack one's arms need to be vectored down thus making it very difficult to use a weapon whilst airborne. However, early days.
