Something we have all missed
« on: May 04, 2021, 04:47:40 pm »

Hi last Friday me and the boss braved the elements and went out to a local near Harrogate. The brown nectar was well worth the wait so was the meal.

Simple answer a good northern pint something you may not know about. If it looks like Castrol it certainly oiled my tubes.

Saturday was a good day, finally got the family together for the first time since xmas - 6 adults and 2 kids in the garden and the rain stayed off.  Took them all out for a meal in the evening.  No alcohol allowed cos we were indoors  <:(  and we ended up with 2 tables of 4 cos the maximum at a table is 6, the restaurant did at least put the tables as close together as they were allowed to so we could still chat so wasn't too bad.  Still looking forward to a real pub pint but the village pub here doesn't have any outside space so it's still shut, the nearest pubs with beer gardens are about an hour away on the bus and they're probably booked ahead for weeks anyway so I'll just have to be patient.

Well don't keep them in 'suspension' Phil...... why not post an image of this new terrace overlooking the quay overlooking the waterway

Do you have a mooring post on the quay with your name as owner or hirer?  ;D

So now a Resident of France.....
Do you now eat Frogs Legs & sip Burgundy?
Do the Snails slide by just waiting for the Chefs pot of Garlic water?  :o
