 Hi Modellers
To keep you updated.  From DEANS MARINE
We plan to have our normal stand at the Blackpool model show on the 16-17th October at the Norbreck hotel unless any problems occur beforehand.
Our normal trade stand will be at the show with a selection of display models from our recent new releases plus other popular models
We will carry a range kits on the stand for perusal, plus a good selection of our accessories range, the ever popular 1m lengths of structural plastics and metal tubes & rods, now that new post regs made these very expensive to ship and our ever popular bits box while stocks lasts, ( first come ? ) We also carry the range of Trumpeter 1/200 kits and many other plastics in the shop, we can add these if requested
We look forward to meeting fellow modellers at the only show of the year for model boats, it there is any specific item you would like us to add please drop us a e-mail and we will try to accommodate pre orders
 Regards
 Deans Marine

One thing I have not seen in print anywhere is the actual opening times of the show. The dates are well publicised but not the times. Thinking of taking a trip there if the weather is suitable but would like to know when it opens and closes.

Web site has now been updated with the current list of exhibitors & traders, although there could well be additions yet to come.

Note: On-line advance ticket sales close next week. Accommodation packages must be made before midnight on Tuesday & tickets must be bought before midnight on Thursday.

You can still buy tickets for the show on the door, however they are £1 cheaper in advance.
1 day pass + £6.50 in advance, £7.50 on the door.
Weekend pass £10.00 in advance, £11.00 on the door.

No pictures but a bit of good information, Mountfleet models have bought the Model Slipway kits and will start production again. They will slowly start to appear in their models list, the first is the 1/72 Steam Drifter which was displayed as available now.

Great pictures, almost as good as being there, but without the long drive there and the guilt-ridden drive home with a car stuffed with goodies!

All in all a very good show, thank you to all involved in getting it going.  I even had the same room I had 2 years ago (570) and guess what, the heating still doesn't work !
Great to meet so many old friends too.
THANK YOU   Jim Worner
