Spring at last and a chance to get to the lake post lockdown on a nice bank holiday weekend
Sailing a refurbished 1/24th scale Deans Marine kit Vosper Royal Barge.
Not run for 20 + years and she is still my favourite boat for sea kindling handling and a joy to drive.
Still all original gear including Bobs Boards speed controller and all still work after good clean up, grease and oiling and off to the lake for a test run at the Peterborough area model boat club lake.
Model is 762mm length beam 203mm single motor on 6 volts.
Having a repair and clean up session in the showroom, some boats have had a hard working life being dragged around shows all over the U.K. and Europe so abused and neglected over the years. no shows for over a year now and none in future dates yet, so time for repair sessions.
