Another good day at the lake Deans Marine H.M.S. Solebay

hI ALL
Deans Marine H.M.S. Solebay model to 1.96 scale,  1.2mts length 118mm beam. R/c with linked control of both motor on 6 volts and rudder. Model was damaged approx 8 years ago when a "modeller" picked it up ( WITHOUT ASKING ) at a show  turned it over and it fell off the stand ?  been in store since then but now forced myself repair her and get  her back on the water, She  is one of the most elegant ships to see sailing I feel. May get around to fitting interdependent control give give better handling it tight spaces. Hope to catch up with plenty of sailing at the lake with refurbished models and at model shows when they start again of  lockdown ease, Sorry for the jumpy pictures aged knees and the new lake is on is still under construction so the sides are all big granite stones and very uneven under foot. Regards  Deans Marine

Such an elegant destroyer design- I’ll shall have to finish mine! Great to see your models coming out on the water Ron, I’ve always said that they are the best sailing models. Hope to see you soon :-))

Wow, she looks so sleek underway - love it  O0
Battle class destroyers really were handsome ships.

Thanks for putting this up Ron :-))
