Need help and advice please.
« on: June 11, 2021, 05:37:40 pm »

good afternoon all,

New boy here , Dave North Bristol, not far from Portishead. I started in RC decades ago, not so much building models but just putting a couple of bulkheads and a Murco 61 ( i think) remember them ? into a GRP hull... I've played with helicopters since.... hmm, expensive.
The point of my post ... i've recently been given a 30 year plus one metre yacht, i've put  new radio etc and it sails ok  and i'm enjoying " learning " how to sail it.

Being an older chap i would like to build something more traditional... made of wood. I've been looking at the Aero-naut Bella and Bellisima.... would i be correct in thinking the Bella would be a better option for me to start with ?, or other suggestion maybe.

Thanks in advance.

Dave.

HI Dave not been a yacht person they both look ok. Looking on the web they both seem to be out of stock. If I am right there does not seem to be many wood yacht kits about. Sorry I can not help any further.
